草莓算是我很喜歡的水果之一, 因為味道超香  而且長的太可愛了!
每次去超市經過它都會忍不住拿起來聞一下  哈哈哈 

但在美國還真不容易買到很甜的草莓, 即使是當季都有可能不甜..  
(還是誰知道什麼挑草莓的秘訣嗎??)

買到酸草莓的時候就只能沾蜂蜜, 砂糖, 或nutella吃, 再不然就是拿來做甜點~  
這次嘗試做了草莓口味pancakes, 看起來還蠻夢幻的, 味道也不差!  
拿來當早餐或是下午茶都是不錯的選擇~  
(但這次吃的時候是當宵夜lol)


strawberry is one of my favorite fruits coz it just smells wonderful plus it looks too cute! i always stopped and picked up a box of strawberries and smelled them like a pervert whenever i passed them by in a supermarket lol.

but it's sort of hard to find those strawberries that are really sweet here in the state (not like in taiwan or korea), even in the strawberry seasons. (or anyone knows how to pick the sweeter ones??) sometimes when i got those sour strawberries, i just dip them with honey, sugar, or nutella. or use them to make desserts! i try to make strawberry pancakes this time, the pink color is sooo cute! and tastes pretty good too~ could be a good dish for breakfast or afternoon tea : )

草莓草莓鬆餅

ingredients

pancake mix一杯

小草莓十幾顆  (小的拿來裝飾比較可愛)

可可粉一大匙

糖一大匙

butter milk半杯

蛋一顆

¾茶匙粉色食用色素  (可省略)

奶油三大匙

糖粉少許 (裝飾用)

蜂蜜

direction

  1. 4 - 5顆草莓和buttermilk用果汁機打勻
  2. 取一大碗加入pancake mix, 可可粉和糖, 拌勻
  3. 倒入草莓buttermilk, 拌勻
  4. 打一顆蛋, 拌勻
  5. 加入食用色素, 拌勻  (讓顏色更明顯)
  6. griddle開中火(溫度轉到3左右), 抹上少許奶油, 倒入適量麵糊
  7. 一面大概煎1 - 2分鐘, 開始起泡泡時翻面
  8. 煎至兩面金黃即可
  9. 煎好的鬆餅放上草莓裝飾, 撒上少許糖粉
  10. ready to enjoy!

ingredients

1 cup pancake mix

13 strawberries (smaller one looks better for decoration)

1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder 

1 tablespoon sugar

1/2 cup buttermilk

1 egg

3/4 teaspoon pink or red food color (optional)

3 tablespoons butter

powder sugar for garnish

honey

direction

  1. blend 4 to 5 strawberries with buttermilk in a blender.
  2. mix pancake mix, cocoa powder and sugar in large bowl until well blended.
  3. stir in strawberry buttermilk, blend well.
  4. add 1 egg, blend well.
  5. add in food color (for a more vibrant pink), blend well.
  6. turn temperature control knob to about 3, coat griddle surface with butter. pour mixture.
  7. cook 1 to 2 minutes per side, turning when pancakes begin to bubble.
  8. cook until golden on both sides. remove from griddle.
  9. top pancakes with fresh strawberries & garnish with powder sugar.
  10. ready to enjoy!

griddle用起來蠻方便的, 可以一次煎個三到六片, 
沒有griddle用一般平底鍋也很ok! 只是會需要多一點時間

鬆餅吃起來真的有淡淡的草莓味! 很香! 
因為糖加的不多, 不是很甜, 所以可以再撒些蜂蜜 (或是楓糖)
 

the griddle was a great tool to use, it could fits 3-6 pancakes at a time. but if you don't have a griddle, a regular frying pan will do just fine. just need a little more patience~
this pink pancakes does have a light strawberry taste, i like it a lot! and since i didn't put too much sugar in it, they're not that sweet, so i eat them with honey. (syrup is good too).

雖然我不喜歡粉色, 但這個pink pancakes真的很可愛+少女呀!!  
感覺吃它的時候都年輕了幾歲… XDD

 

even though i don't like pink that much, this pink pancakes are indeed dreamy cute! felt like i'm few years younger when i eat them! LOL
